Vaikka lomani olikin aivan ihana, on se nyt takanapäin. Viime postauksessa kirjoitin siitä kun minulla oli vahva fiilis että reissusta tulisi aivan uskomaton, ja näinhän siinä kävi. Lomareissuni Portugaliin pomppasi todella nopeasti top 3 listalleni, ja suuni vääntyy väkisinkin hymyyn kun mietinkin tätä viime viikkoa. Tosi nopeasti lomalta palatessani jalat olivat taas maan pinnalla, ja stressi vain vyöryi päälle tämän valtavan työmäärän vuoksi, joka minulla on edessäni seuraavat kolme viikkoa. Luultavasti tästä tullaan kyllä selviytymään ihan kunnialla. Tässä postauksessa kerronkin nyt pienen lomatarinani Portugalista.
Ensimmäiset kaksi päivää minä ja Clara olimme kahdestaan Portugalin asunnolla, sillä muut tulivat paikanpäälle vasta muutama päivä myöhemmin. Nämä kaksi päivää tuntui niin epätodellisen täydelliseltä. Ihan kuin olisin ottanut joitain onnellisuushuumeita, koska mieleni hyppi jossain aivan ulottamattomissa. Olin vain niin onnellinen ja niin vapautunut. Epäilen että tämä tuli ihan vain siitä kun kerrankin lähdimme reissuun keskellä koulua, ja siksi kyseessä oli ihan kunnon irtiotto arjesta. Kun suljen silmäni nyt, näen itseni kellumassa meressä ja katsomassa ihanaa auringonpaistetta. Meri oli lämmin, ranta oli kuuma, ja kaikki oli vain niin hyvin.
Hauskanpito meni vielä astetta eteenpäin, kun Jalma, Helen ja Francisco tulivat myös Portimãoon. Vietin reissussa myös yhden parhaimmista öistä ikinä, kun meidän juhlat olivat vain niin täydelliset ja niin täynnä naurua. Ilta alkoi sillä kun pakkasimme mukaan illallisen ja paljon juomia, ja lähdimme rannalle. Tässä muutama kuva rannasta:
Paikanpäällä ei ollut ketään muuta! Saimme olla keskenämme, ja kun aurinko alkoi laskea olimme valmiita yöhön. Pelasimme ensimmäistä kertaa New Girlistä tuttua True American juomapeliä, ja aivan kuten New Girlissäkin, lopputulos oli se että kaikki oli niin hullua, outoa, uskomatonta, ja hauskaa. Teimme tuona yönä niin paljon ja niin paljon sellaisia asioita mitä me emme normaalisti koskaan tee, joten suosittelen True Americania kyllä kenelle tahansa. Takaa hyvät bileet, jotka jatkuvat aamun sarastukseen saakka.
Loppujen lopuksi loman jokainen päivä sisälsi rannalla makaamista, ja kallioilla kiikkumista, ja nyt onnekseni olen kymmenen astetta tummempi ihonväriltäni, joten kiitos aurinko. Matka oli lyhyt, mutta silti sopiva. Paluusta teki helpoksi se, että täälläkin kerkesi meidän poissaollessa alkaa helteet, jonka vuoksi pystyn täälläkin nyt käyttämään ihan samoja vaatteita kuin Portugalissa. Nyt vain voin sanoa että kohti kokeita päin, ja siksi saattaa blogin puolella olla taas hieman hiljaisempaa. Kuitenkin, kohta kesä ja aivan uudet kuviot alkavat!
Even though my holiday was so lovely, it is now unfortunately in the past. In my last post I was writing how strongly I felt that the trip would become amazing, and luckily I was right. My trip to Portugal became suddenly one of the best ones ever, and I still can't help but smile when I think about our last week. Immediately, when my feet hit the Dutch ground again, I could feel the stress taking over. I know I am going to have crazy much work to do the next three weeks, but I think this time all the assignments and exams will be alright. But now I am going to tell you guys my short holiday story in Portugal.
Me and Clara spent the first two days alone at the summer house in Portugal, because the rest only joined us later. These two days felt so unreal and so perfect. It really felt like I was on some happiness drugs because my mind was so amazingly happy and free. I think this all was just because this time we went on a holiday in a middle of school, when normally I only go on holidays when I actually am on a holiday already. Now if I close my eyes, I can still see my self floating around in the sea, looking at the beautiful scenery and sun. The sea was warm, the beach was hot, and everything was just so good.
Everything became even more perfect when Jalma, Helen and Francisco joined us to Portimão. Additionally, I had one of the best nights ever in there, because we had the most perfect party you could ever have. The whole night was full of craziness and laughter. The night began when we packed our dinner and drinks into boxes, and we went to a beautiful beach. It was so crazy how it also literally was completely empty! We could just enjoy our time together, and once the sun started setting down, we were ready for the upcoming night. For the first time ever, we decided to play a True American drinking game which we had seen in a tv series called New Girl. The funny part is, that just like in New Girl, this game ended up in the most craziest, weirdest, funnies and the most perfect way because we ended up doing so many things which would never normally do. I definitely recommend True American to anyone, it really guarantees a party which would last till the next morning.
In the end, every holiday day included lying on the beach and wandering around. Now my skin is also many shades darker so I can only say thank you sun! The trip was short but still enough. Getting back was also quite easy because while we were gone, the weather in the Netherlands decided to become amazing as well, so now I can just wear the same clothes as in Portugal. Now three weeks of hard work left, exams and then freedom is here. Therefore, might be that the next weeks will be more quiet here in the blog. However, it is almost summer and completely new way of living begins! Can't wait!
